Orange by Takano Ichigo

In the Spring she was 16, Takamiya Naho receives a strange, but detailed letter from herself, ten years in the future. At first she thinks the letter is a prank, but then the things written in the letter actually happen, including the new transfer student that sits next to her in class, Naruse Kakeru. The letter reads just like her diary entries, down to the same characters. It is not till two weeks later, when Kakeru shows back up at school, that Naho finishes the letter. In the letter, her 27-year-old self tells her 16-year-old self that her biggest regret is that Kakeru is no longer with them in the future, and asks her to watch him closely. (manga summary taken from mangahere.co)

I came across this while I was trying to find something to read while waiting for my hair styling finish. This manga are tagged as Drama, Mystery, Romance, School Life, Shoujo, Slice Of Life, Tragedy.

Actuallly, I rarely read sad stories since I’m not a big fan of stories with sad ending or tragedy, cause sometimes i felt that the reality itself is already tragic so why make it heavier by reading sad stories right?. So i was hesitant at first to continue, but I ran out of other manga options to read so I decided to just deal with it and read the heck out of the tragedy.

And I’m glad I did. (´▽`)*✲゚*

Thus, to not spoil it to anyone who haven’t read it,this is my verdict about the manga:

Storyline: ♥♥♥♥♡

Art:♥♥♥♥♡

Ending: ♥♥♥♥♥

As I read it, I feel that this manga is trying to reach people with depression. Which is quite deep cause anyone can relate to it. And I do hope the message from this manga can reach out and help lots of people with its heartfelt story.

ps. Orange by takano ichigo is being turned into live-action movie that will set to release on december.*(ノ´ヮ´)ノ*:・゚✧ yeayy! can’t wait for it ♥
